MAINSTAGE PERFORMANCES

Phoenix Theatre
414 Mason St, 7th Floor
San Francisco, CA

GETTING THERE:

BY BART (PUBLIC TRANSIT)
Get on any train bound for SF/Daly City (if you're coming from the city or the South Bay, take any train). Exit the Powell BART station to the right, turn left to get to Eddy Street, then walk up Eddy for a block and turn right on Mason. (Or, go up Powell, turn left on Geary, turn right on Mason for a glitzier stroll.) The Phoenix Theatre is inside the Native Sons Building on your right; if you've passed Ruby Skye, you've gone too far! Take the elevator or stairs up to the 7th floor.
Estimated walk time: 10 minutes

BY CAR
Entering Downtown SF by car is a tricky proposition— the area is a maze of one-way streets clogged with traffic— so leave early and bring a GPS if possible! Street parking is free in the evenings and on Sundays, but is extremely rare; the more reliable option is the Union Square Parking Garage (from there, it's just a one block walk east on Geary to Mason Street, then turn right on Mason). The Sutter-Stockton Garage is cheaper, but a bit further away. The Phoenix Theatre is inside the Native Sons Building. Take the elevator or stairs up to the 7th floor.

FOOD & DRINK
Almost too many options to count! There is something for every palate and price range within a three block radius. Pinecrest Diner is great if you're in a hurry and looking for that New Jersey diner feel; if you want to go all-out, though, visit Scala's on Powell or Puccini & Pinetti on Ellis. For after-show drinks: If you're not looking closely, you'll miss the entrance to Benjamin Cooper, a vintage cocktail and oyster bar nestled right next to the Native Sons Building, but sometimes you can find actors there unwinding after a performance.

THE FORGE STAGED READINGS

Shotgun Studios
1201 University Avenue
Berkeley, CA

GETTING THERE:

BY BART (PUBLIC TRANSIT)
Take a Richmond-bound train to the North Berkeley BART station. (If you're coming from Richmond or the North Bay, take any train. The Richmond BART station parking lot is a great place to leave your car if you're driving in from the north). Exit the North Berkeley BART station through the main exit and walk forward until you reach Sacramento Street, turn right and walk until you reach University Ave. Turn right on University, walk three blocks, and we'll be on your right!
Estimated walk time: 15 minutes

BY CAR
From I-80: Take the University Ave exit (exit 11) and turn onto University Avenue. After you pass San Pablo Avenue, Shotgun Studios will be a block up on your left. Park in the attached parking lot if there's space; if not, street parking is free past 6pm and on Sundays

FOOD & DRINK
Eat @ Thai Restaurant and La Mission are both good, low-cost food options less than a block from Shotgun Studios. If you're willing to go a little further afield, Lanesplitter Pizza and Pub has all the classics, and Albatross has that quintessential dive bar vibe (go for the beer, stay for the pool tables and dart boards). Or make an evening of it and explore the many excellent options in Downtown Berkeley!
